ColourPop vs Anastasia Beverly Hills: Single Shadow Comparison Part 2

CP has a ton of dupes for ABH eyeshadows so I went through my collection and found all of the shades that are remotely similar to compare which ended up being about 45 possibilities. A lot of them turned out to be dupes. Some were similar and others were way off. Since it’s a time consuming process, I’m splitting my little project into smaller sections. This is part two of probably four posts. Check out part one here!

I love Anastasia shadows but they’re $12 a pop. For the most part I think that ColourPop shadows are just as good and they’re only $4.50. Or $4.05 if you use our affiliate code BEAUTYCULT to save 10% 😁

■Tiger’s Eye vs Rosé All Day- these are both greenish gold metallics. Rosé is a little more green but I’d still consider them to be dupes

■ Surface of the Sun vs Party Favors- dupes! Both are warm gold shimmers with apricot undertones. They look exactly the same to me

■Brick vs Top Notch- Mid-toned warm browns with red undertones… these two also look identical to me.

■Burnt Orange vs Note to Self- both are light to medium orange browns. Once again they look exactly the same to me

■Peach Sorbet vs 20 Something- these two are pale peachy golds. 20 Something is a little darker and also a little more warm. They’re similar but not dupes, imo

■Caramel vs Sea Stars- Sea Stars is a bit more orange but you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference on the eye

■Fudge vs Lil’ Boat- these two are way off. I hadn’t realized that Fudge was that dark

■Sunset vs Paper Crane- I included two pics for this one because from straight on they look the same (1st pic) but from other angles Sunset has a lighter gold reflect

■Red Orche vs Popular Demand- these two are deep red browns. Red Ochre is a little more red but I’d still consider them to be dupes

■Rose Gold vs Milli- these two are deep reddish coppers. Rose Gold is a little more red. Milli is a little more orange

■Wine vs Up & Atom- both are metallic coppers. I think Wine might be a little darker

■Orange Soda vs Issues- these two look the same to me

So to recap… There was one set that was way off (Fudge/Lil’ Boat) and two that weren’t close enough to be dupes (Peach Sorbet/20 Something, Sunset/Paper Crane). All of the rest are similar enough that you don’t need both, imo. I’ll start working on part 3 next week!
