UD Ultraviolet Dupes!!


We earn a commission if you use some of the codes mentioned in this post. The palette and the majority of the dupes were sent as pr samples

This palette was surprisingly difficult to dupe. The dupes for Lucid, V.R. and Cyber Punk are off but the rest are pretty close!

▪️Trippin’ vs Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma ($5.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are both ivory satins. Trippin’ might be a little more yellow but they’re pretty similar

Other options- CP Hear me Out, Nabla Coconut Milk… pretty much any off white that you have would work

▪️Mind Slip vs Makeup Geek Bellini ($5.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Mind Slip is a matte peach. It’s a bit darker than Bellini but Bellini is more pigmented so it evens out

▪️Dazed vs ColourPop Turntables ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Dazed is one of those peachy pink gold duochromes. I used Turntables as my example but damn near every CP palette has a similar color (Baby Got Peach, Sweet Talk, Coast to Coral etc)

▪️Hacked vs ColourPop Made to Last ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- both are dusty rose mattes. Made to Last might be a teeny bit more mauve but they’re very similar

▪️V.R. vs Devinah IDFWU ($5, -20% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- V.R. is the most unique shade in the palette. It has a terracotta base with a rosey shift and tons of teal sparkle. IDFWU has the same teal sparkle but it’s base color is more chocolatey


I thought that CP Miser was going to be a good dupe but its quite a bit lighter.





Touch of Glam Temptress is another good option



▪️Lucid vs Sydney Grace Green Mist ($6, -15% w/ non-affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Lucid was also a bit tricky. It’s a white based duochrome with a teal shift. Green Mist is quite a bit more green. But most of the other possibilities listed below are more blue.


A better option would be Terra Moons Space Baby but it’s $17. It has the same teal reflects but it also shifts purple and pink and it’s sparkly and glorious. We a non-affiliate discount code with Terra Moons. It’s the usual, BEAUTYCULT and it’s for 15% off.

▪️Optimized vs ColourPop Friendly ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- These two are similar lavender colors but Optimized has a hint of pearl. I wouldn’t say that its a satin finish but it’s not completely matte either. Friendly, on the other hand, is a true matte. It’s also a bit warmer and more pink than Optimized

▪️Warning vs Clionadh Amulet (C$6.50, -10% w/ non-affil code BEAUTYCULT10)- Warning is a fuschia pink with a blue violet shift. Amulet is similar but with a more dramatic duochrome shift

▪️Cyber Punk vs ColourPop Neutrino ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- I had a hard time with this one too. My two best dupes, MUG Masquerade and Beauty Escape Columba aren’t available anymore. Whomp. So I went with Neutrino. From some angles its a very similar reddish violet color but from other angles it looks more blue/plum

▪️Euphoria vs Sydney Grace Magenta Dreams ($6, -15% w/ non-affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Euphoria is a violet shimmer with a blue shift. It’s pretty similar to one of UD’s classic shades, Tonic. Magenta Dreams is also a shimmery violet with blue reflects but it also shifts pink

▪️Purple Dust vs Devinah Purple Kush ($5, -20% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are very dark, sparkly violets. Purple Dust is darker and more glittery

▪️Digital vs Devinah Royal ($5, -20% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are blackened burgundy shimmers. Digital pulls a little more purple and Royal a little more red
