ABH X Amrezy Palette Dupes

And now it’s time for my standard dupe disclaimer! I apologize to those of you who have heard this speech a million times but I actually try to read and respond to my comments and everytime that someone says that it would probably be cheaper just to buy the palette, I want to bang head against brick wall. And I’m already pretty dumb so the disclaimer is meant to prevent me from becoming further brain damaged. Not that a troll is going to read my long ass captions… moving on. I love ABH and Amrezy and I definitely recommend this palette, assuming that you don’t already have these colors in your collection. If you have a lot of makeup then you might only be interested in a few of the more unique shades. In which case it would be more economical to buy 1 or 2 single shadows instead of dropping $50 on a palette. Also say that you already have the palette and you love the shade Leo, now if you hit pan you can buy a dupe instead of a 2nd palette. I’m definitely NOT suggesting that you should buy 16 single shadows. It would be more expensive and a pain in the ass. That is all.

▪️Waisted vs ColourPop Hear Me Out ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- would you believe that out of this entire palette, Waisted was the hardest shade to dupe?? It’s a very pale peachy pink with a hint of pearl. Since I don’t have any similar satin finish shadows, I had to go with mattes. The closest dupe that I could find was CP Lucky You. Outta Luck is also very similar. Naturally they’re both discontinued so Hear Me Out it is! MUG Shimma Shimma is another good option if you wanted something with a more pearlized finish.

▪️Barb vs Tammy Tanuka Mallow Rascal ($4.50)- normally I don’t like to use a loose pigment as a dupe for a pressed shadow but Mallow Rascal is an EXACT dupe. Also Barb is true pressed pigment with large, flaky pigment particles so Mallow Rascal is a texture dupe as well

Devinah Pixy Stix and Clionadh Sunbeam are color dupes but they have a smoother texture so they look quite different on the eye. There’s also a very similar shade in the Huda Light Nude palette. Looxi Baby Girl is another option

You can see the difference in texture in the top pic. For the bottom one, I sprayed a brush with a setting mist and pressed down and smoothed out the product. You can see that although the colors are very similar, Barb is still more sparkly and iridescent. Whereas Sunbeam is more opaque.

▪️Litty vs ColourPop Full Effect ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- the only pressed glitters in my collection are the ones that I’ve gotten in PR from ColourPop. I lucked out this time because they have options that are fairly similar to the two glitters in this palette. Litty and Full Effect are both light coppers with flecks of gold. But Litty also has hints of purple

Michalada from the CP It’s All Good palette is also similar

▪️Cupcake vs Nabla Calypso (€6,50 or ~ $7usd)- to my eye Cupcake and Calypso are the identical shade of pinky lavender. The only difference is that Calypso has a smoother texture. There’s a very similar shade in the Huda Light Nude Palette. So if you like the shades Cupcake and Barb, which are my personal favs from the palette, then you might consider getting that Huda mini palette instead as it has near dupes for both shades.

▪️Dragon vs ColourPop Heart 2 Heart ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- is a coppery gold with an ultra metallic finish. Heart 2 Heart is more yellow.

I’ve got a fuckton of similar shades… Sydney Grace Aztec Ruins, CP Not Ok, Devinah Electroplate, Devinah Anodized, Johnny Concert Metal Rebel, CP Kathleen Lights etc

▪️Leo vs Sydney Grace Juggler ($6, -15% w/ non-affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Leo is a foiled teal. Juggler is lighter and a bit more green.

Other options- Nabla Virgin Island, CP Grindlock, Looxi Deep, Looxi Tipsy, Sydney Grace Hydra, Clionadh Artic Circle, Johnny Concert Mötley

▪️Gemini vs ColourPop Renegade ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- and the second pressed glitter! Gemini is a blackened gold. Renegade is significantly lighter. MUG Utopia pigment is another option. It’s not glitter but it has large pigment particles so the texture is at least somewhat similar

Other options- Topaz from that big ass CP/Kathleen Lights palette and El Capitan from the CP California Love are also similar

▪️Gorgina vs Sydney Grace Amber ($6, -15% w/ non-affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are chocolate brown metallics. Amber is a bit more gold

Other options: Clionadh Caribou, Sydney Grace Arabian Nights, CP Material Girl, Devinah Ambrosia, Vanessa’s Vanity Bronze Chocolate, Vanessa’s Vanity Expensive Taste

▪️Rezy vs Touch of Glam Future is Fuchsia ($7.50, -15% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are hot pink metallics. Future is Fuchsia more sparkly and a little warmer

▪️Anastasia vs ColourPop Come and Get It ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are both pale pinks with a gold duochrome shift. Come and Get It is a little warmer

▪️New Yawker vs Adept Cosmetics M3 ($4, -15% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- New Yawker and OG (below) are VERY similar. New Yawker pulls a bit more yellow and OG is a little more orange but the difference is minuscule, imo. M3 is more yellow than New Yawker.

▪️OG vs ColourPop Sea Stars ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- OG is more orange than Sea Stars

▪️Semsa vs Makeup Geek Dedicated ($8, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Semsa is a warm matte plum. Dedicated is a little more purple

▪️1988 vs ColourPop Feathered ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- 1988 is a warm medium to dark matte brown. Feathered is more red.

I’m pretty sure that 1988 is actually ABH Fudge with a different name because they look identical to me

▪️BK vs ColourPop Let’s Do It ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- BK is a matte black. Any black that you have would work

▪️Yugo vs Makeup Geek Give Me the Dirt ($5.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Yugo is blackened brown with plum undertones. The two best dupes that I have for Yugo are CP Razy (discontinued) and Melt Meanstreak (stupid expensive and I’m not sure if it’s sold individually). So I went with the next best thing… MUG Give Me the Dirt has the same depth but the undertones are more red. Same with Adept M20
