REVIEW:

For reference I use Pat McGrath Shade 11 and I was Medium 10N on the Pretty Fresh Tinted moisturizer. I am generally between NC30 or NC25 in Mac shades.

This is a tinted moisturizer, that offer a dose of moisture with a slight coverage, meant for casual days where you just want to cover a little redness and to focus on skin. It is moisturizing but not oily. I used under primer and used the sponge to apply. One layer gave me no coverage at all and it was mostly just the moisturizer, two layers started covering my redness but you could still see my skin. Three layers gave me red coverage whilst still showing my birthmarks and everything that makes my skin look like, well: me and get this: it still didn’t look like I was wearing foundation!! I feel I needed to set it with some type of powder if I didn’t want it to look dewy but I like the dewy finish anyway, so i just spritzed with the mist. If you have a considerable amount of redness and/or acne that require coverage you can always cover up with concealer on trouble spots and color correct and just apply this as a last step to even out everything without looking like you are wearing much. I would wear this for everyday, school drop-off, lazy sunday evenings at home, daytime range time where I don’t want to look like I have makeup on, but I don’t want my obvious redness to make an appearance. But I would normally wear something with more coverage for night out, errands,

The sponge that is releasing was key to use this and blended everything fairly well. I cringe with light colored sponges because I hate to see them dirty afterwards but a quick wash with my trusty aloricollection brush cleanse left it looking like new.

And finally, a little comparison using different number of layers on my skin.

  1. I just started wearing tinted moisturizers and I absolutely love them! Even more than foundation these days. This looks really good and natural. Covered her redness while still making her look perfect for everyday wear.
