Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Alyssa Edwards’ Palette Dupes
Time to dupe another ABH palette! Hooray! This one was actually pretty easy because of how similar it is to the Riviera palette. Check out my comparison here. I don’t know what they were thinking releasing those two palettes back to back. Whatever. Moving on. Okay enough chit chat. Let’s get down to business!
▪️Headliner vs Sydney Grace Snow Queen ($5, -15% w/ non-affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Headliner is a matte stark white. I used Snow Queen as my example but Devinah Blow or any matte white that you have would be fine
▪️Inspire vs ColourPop 20 Something ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Inspire is a very pale metallic gold. 20 Something is warmer and a little darker. ABH Peach Sorbet is a closer dupe but it’s $12
▪️Unicorn Tribe vs ColourPop 143 ($4.50 w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Unicorn Tribe is a mid-toned pinky plum. 143 is darker and more purple. Coastal Scents Cinnabar Rose is actually a closer dupe. Don’t ask me why I swatched 143 instead
▪️Brick Road vs ColourPop Take Flight ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Brick Road is a matte primary yellow. Take Flight is a little more… mustardy? Definitely not a word but it’s 2am so imma let it ride
Option two: Makeup Geek Potential or Sugarpill Buttercream Cake
▪️Texas Made vs ColourPop Sandbar ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- both are bright matte pinks. Texas Made is more red
Option two: Morphe Orchid
▪️Dream It vs Makeup Geek Indestructible ($9, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Dream It is a vibrant royal blue matte. It’s lighter and a little more purple than Indestructible
Option two: ColourPop Backstage
▪️Back Rolls vs ColourPop Cloud Nine ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are dark neutral browns. They look the same to me
Option Two: ColourPop Feathered
▪️The Supreme vs ColourPop Cut-Outs ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- These two are matte corals. Cut-outs is more red
Option two: ColourPop I Owe You
▪️H.O.E. vs ColourPop Bel Air ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- these two are midtoned matte browns with subtle taupe undertones. Bel Air is a little lighter
Option Two: ColourPop Conundrum
▪️D.D.C. vs Vanessa’s Vanity Wicked Plum ($6, -20% w/ affil code OURBEAUTYCULT)- these two are vibrant blue violet metallics. The only difference is that D.D.C. has a smattering of silver glitter
Option Two: Sydney Grace As If
▪️B.B.D.C. vs Devinah Cosmetics Virago ($5, -20% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- B.B.D.C. is a dark aubergine matte. These swatches are a bit deceptive because Virago while very similar in color is at least two shades lighter. Although it is buildable. I must have used more pressure when swatching it. My bad. Inglot 297 is a closer dupe. This why I’ve been doing the fingertip macros instead of arm swatches. I’m always changing my mind.
▪️Beyond vs Touch of Glam Future is Fuchsia ($7.50, -15% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- I used Coastal Scents Wine Berry in the swatches but it’s discontinued apparently. Whomp. On to option two! Future is Fuchsia is very similar in color but it has a more sparkly finish
▪️Believe vs ColourPop Try Me ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Believe is a matte violet. Try Me is warmer
Option Two: Sugarpill Poison Plum
▪️Beast vs ColourPop Let’s Do It ($4.50, -10% w/ affil code BEAUTYCULT)- Beast is a matte black. Let’s Do It, Makeup Geek Corrupt or any matte black that you have could be used as a substitute
Tada! We’ve reached the end! I realized as I was writing this post that I never did Riviera dupes. I already found some but I never got around to swatching them so I’ll work on that this week!
