Our girl has a new collab! this time, there will be 12 new loose pigments releasing for $6 each and $70 for the bundle of 12, each pigment has 2.20g and the shades are meant to match that of the ones in her Zodiac Palette .
The Bundle has a green box with the Zodiac deco all over in gold:
The packaging on the pigment jars is clear with gold embossing and they have a plastic stopper inner lid. This lid isn’t pressured or hard to open which is a nice feature since any other Pigment with a sifter that’s tighly closed ends up exploding in my hands while opening.
Trip to memory lane…..
I posted swatches of the Zodiac Palette Here and I’m copying a few pictures for your reference below, so you decide to get it along when this drops, as these are meant as companions to the palette. The palette is available at ColourPop HERE for $18.
Lets get back to the pigments shall we? I didn’t swatch these in the order of the Zodiac, so all of you Astrology OCD nuts don’t come for me please!? I love astrology though, Im always researching it and it doesn’t cease to amaze me how a lot of it ends up being true, at least in my case. I just started with the first shade that caught my eye and worked my way clockwise.
THE GOAT
Capricorns beware, this rich Bronze brown has nothing to do with the palette counterpart so don’t ask me why this shade, go watch Kathleen’s YouTube video where she explains it (don’t keeeeel me, I have not watched).
THE ARCHER
Well, Dear Saggitarius got themselves a nice duo chrome violet. Color me jelly.
THE SCORPION
Scorpio got a deep berry similar to the palette.
THE SCALES
Libra has a light pink with opalescent and silver sparkle.
THE MAIDEN
OHhhhhhhh i realized now: Im going counterwise from the zodiac order, Virgos must be irked af. Angela doesn’t count, she can care less about her sign, which is SOOOO VIRGO. They got an icy white.
This is the part where I tell you AGAIN I’m a LEO. Lets get that out of the way before we continue swatching.
THE LION
LEOs love all things shiny and adornments of any kind but deep down, we are courageous and loyal and real pain in the arses when anyone messes with our friends. We are ruled by the sun and all things fire, so of course we got a nice gold to show off.
THE CRAB
CANCER got a light periwinkle. Snooze tho.. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! it has teal duochrome!
THE TWINS
Gemini got away with a copper/rose gold type. I dig

THE BULL
Taurus got this crazy looking green, my little toddler bull approved.
THE RAM
Aries got what a few of you described as cheeto dust orange. I honestly got about 4 dms on the matter and y’all made my night. But this swatched is the prettiest tangerine with gold reflects.
THE FISH
Pisces got a delicate seafood (I meant seafoam but I’m keeping the typo cause lol) green that also reflects a darker green and silver
THE WATER BEARER
I left Aquarius for last because its my favorite sign, aside from mine. Its my complete opposite and is my complement. So very not surprised when my soul mate of almost 9 years is an Aquarius. Im happy with this royal blue shade that the WATER BEARER got, the romantic in me is happy.
Yes yes.. I know you are going to tell me that Kathleen has done a gazillion collabs with ColourPop, but have you not bought each and every one of them though? We forget what Collabs are: a collaboration between a brand and an artist or influencer, and Kathleen has become their darling collaborator, be it because she’s friends with everyone there or because her sweet demeanor and approachable makeup style has made it easy to create things with. She strikes me as a person that is easy to work with and a delight to create along, so I don’t blame ColourPop for choosing her again and again. I talk to a lot of brands and Im not here to spill “tea” but sometimes collaborations are a huge pain in the arse to come to fruition, too much pride and creative differences can kill a collaboration in any stage and once you find someone that a brand can trust to be able to carry on a project like this, its easy to do again and again, specially given the current success her collabs have been. So personally, Kathleen sweetie: go get that cheddar girl, good for you. I do wish other influencers are brought in (cough cough.. im available..) but since CP drops things every other week, there is room for everyone, I know there’s a lot of good things coming too so don’t think the collabs are done, January isn’t even done baby…

Our Beauty Cult 
I can’t honestly in good faith argue that my sun sign is ‘the best’ because, while us Aries are brave and righteous, we’re also really immature and prone to temper tantrums if things don’t go our way (I always think Buffy should have been an Aries, but canonically she has a couple of birth dates which don’t correlate.) But; everyone is so much more than their sun sign! I know I would probably only wear The Crab and The Maiden regularly but the collector in me wants the whole set….
