F.A.I.R. Beauty Cosmetics Highlighters
Last part of my Fair swatches! I’ve already posted all of her eyeshadows and glitters, ICYMI. I gave you all the tea on the brand in my previous posts so I’ll just quickly recap. Fair is indie brand based out of Miami. She’s been in business for three years now and focuses on eyeshadows and highlighters. Her entire line is cruelty free and vegan and we have an affiliate discount code with her, BEAUTYCULT for 10% off. I’m starting with her new loose highlighter trio because this weekend only (labor day) if you spend $25+, you’ll get the trio for free. There’s no code required so you can still use an affiliate code to save an additional 10%!
F.A.I.R. Beauty Cosmetics ‘Mystical Cove’ Highlighter Trio ($22)
It’s a set of three loose highlighters (5 grams each) and it retails for $22 or $19.80, if you use our affiliate code BEAUTYCULT to save 10%! I was a little apprehensive when I first opened these. They look really green and really blue in the jars, which is fine. It’s just not my cup of tea. But I was pleasantly surprised once I saw them on my skin! All three are primarily gold with subtle duochrome shifts.
🐚Halcyon Sea Stars is a soft yellow gold
🧜♀️Chelonia Mydas is green/gold duochrome. Blended out, it looks primarily gold with a hint of green when it catches the light
🐠Mermaid’s Lagoon is a blue and gold duo with a green shift. It also looks mostly gold blended out but you can make the blue more visible with a heavier application
Mermaid’s Lagoon is a teeny bit dark for me but I can pull it off as long as I’m light handed. I’m very curious to see how these look on brown skin. I suspect that they’ll be beautiful! They are only sold as a trio but I think that they’re very reasonably priced at less than $20 (after the discount code) and I’m excited to have a blue highlighter that I’ll actually wear!
Onto the pressed highlighters! They’re $12 for a 38mm pan or $17 for a 42mm compact or $10.80/$15.30, if you use an affiliate code. And she offers free US shipping on orders of $50 or more!
This the warmer toned half of her highlighters and hot damn! I forgot how pretty some of these are!
Capheira is one of the coolest highlighters ever. I did a crappy job of capturing all of its dimensions on camera. It’s a light greenish gold that’s marbled with white but the white has pink reflects so it can look gold, green or pink depending on the light and angle. That’s a must have, imo.
My second favorite is Fairy’s Wish. It isn’t as unique as Capheira but its the most beautiful metallic rose gold that looks gorgeous on the skin.
Alicorn is ivory with yellow gold reflects, very fair girl friendly.
I don’t even know how to describe Siren’s Song… it’s an ultra metallic… antique gold? Dark peachy gold? Idk. It would def look great on brown skin but I can actually pull it off too, with a light hand.
And lastly, Alectrona is a satiny rose color that looks beautiful as a blush/blush topper.
And lastly zee cool toned half!
I did a seperate post for Hyperion Seasons since it’s so cool. It’s half turquoise and half pink with blue reflects or you can swirl both sides together to create a pinky lavender with blue pearl.
Dragon Mist is a gunmetal metallic with subtle lavender undertones. It’s obviously meant for deeper complexions but it will serve as an eyeshadow for everyone.
Enchantress is a silvery platinum. It’s intended for very fair skin and can also serve as an eyeshadow for all skin tones.
Incubus Dreams is a baby blue. It is pretty opaque so you’ll want to be light handed if you use it as a highlighter.
Oracle is a frosty barbie pink. I love this one as an eyeshadow.
The last one is actually called ‘Immortal Nymph’. Whoops. It’s a metallic pearl with pink undertones and it’s my second favorite of the cool tones after Hyperion Seasons.
And that’s all she wrote! If you’ve been meaning to order from F.A.I.R., I would definitely do so today or tomorrow (Monday Sept 3) so that you can take advantage of that special offer, where you automatically get the loose highlighter trio for free if you spend $25+. And don’t forget to check out my previous posts, if you haven’t seen her eyeshadows and glitters!
