Welp… it’s the end of an era, guys. I finally sucked it up and canceled Ipsy. And wouldn’t you know it… my last bag was fucking fire. Sigh. Okay let’s take a looksie, shall we??

Sahi Cosmetics Cream Metallic Foil Eyeshadow in ‘Dubai’ ($22)- I’d never heard of Sahi Cosmetics before now but I’m in love with the formula of this shadow! It has a creamy texture with several glitters in different colors and sizes. It’s on the sheer side so it would be an ideal lid topper. The formula is REALLY similar to those Natasha Denona chroma crystal thingys. I’d go so far as to say that they’re dupes. I think that they have four other colors and I’m seriously considering getting another one.

Beauty for Real eyeliner in ‘Whiskey’ ($14)- normally I hate getting eyeliner from Ipsy but I love this color. It reminds me of my beloved Costa Riche from Mac. It’s self sharpening and it goes on smoothly without tugging. Two thumbs up!

Pixi Beauty Skintreats Glow Tonic ($2)- I’ve actually had this toner on my radar for awhile now. I’m hoping that it can replace my Indie Lee toner because it’s a fraction of the price. This was a small sample so I can’t tell for sure but I liked it enough that I’m going to order the full sized bottle

Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic Eye Repair Cream ($29)- I like this too. It’s hydrating but also light weight. I’m enjoying the sample but not so much that I’d buy the full sized jar

Luxie Beauty Small Shader Brush ($12)- yay! I love getting brushes! This is an itty bitty shader brush. It’s perfect for applying pigments and glitters. I want to buy a few more for swatches.

The next two items I redeemed with my accumulated points.

Flower beauty Lash Warrior Mascara ($10)- I love spikey wands like this. And I like the mascara. It’s better for lengthening and separating than volume but I like the formula and I’d buy it again.

Vasanti Concealer Buffer Brush ($23)- this is a very soft, tapered buffer brush. I love the size, shape and texture for gently blending my undereye concealer and eye primers

Ipsy is $10 a month and my June bag had a retail value of $112 ($79 + $33 in bonus items)! Naturally the moment I decide to cancel, I get the best bag ever. I do want to subscribe to something else because I enjoy reviewing them but I haven’t decided what. I’m strongly considering Sisley Paris or Le Metier de Beaute. Also Boxycharm has been bomb lately. When I was subscribed it was fucking dreadful. So yeah… I’ve narrowed it down to those three. Hopefully I’ll start reviewing one of them next month!
