ColourPop Cosmetics Super Star Loose Shadows: Swatches, Macros and me bitchin about the weather again.

Spring is canceled, per usual. We are just going to call this season BLING, it’ll still be winter but we will ignore it and pretend we are in the middle of summer, wearing bright things and having fun (indoors, duh) and when it finally hits a decent temperature we will go outside, and enjoy summer like it was intended.

There are so many duochromy/foiled/BLINGY things being dropped that you can’t swing a wet rag without hitting a new metallic release, and I’m all here for it!!! you see, Im a hectic besh, I don’t have time to do an elaborate look anymore; instead I put a neutral crease and base, smoke out the outer corner and put a metallic shade on my lid to liven things up, lower lash line? I’ll use any of the shadows aforementioned as liner, maybe wing it out, highlight my face like theres no tomorrow and maybe blush (I’ve become that besh that thinks blush is optional). Smack a lipstick or gloss on and set it all with a big poufy brush and setting powder (I’m loving Viseart’s). Ive mastered it all under 10 minutes.

So obviously that when something new foiled and pigmented comes out, it expands the heights to which I take my laziness.

Super Star Loose shadows are basically loose pigments, they come in a pot similar to the super shock shadows, with a sifter and 2g of loose heaven within.

Lets get to the swatches and macros!

QUICKSAND: a copper shade

BABY ROO: deep purple with pink and blue shimmers

CAMEO similar to CHEEKY super shock – a pretty peach.

VERTIGO: BRIGHT coral. I repeat: BRIGHT!

BADLANDS: bright violet

UPSHOT: a nice medium toned warm green

HONEYPOT: silver foil

MULHOLLAND: bronze

TYPHOON: A delicate pearl with silver glitter, this one was hard to apply, didn’t layer evenly.

GOLIGHTLY: a true gold, bright and ready to party

LIFTED: light mauve lavender

WKND: a champagne gold, also did not layer as even and bright as the others and tended to patch up.

My recommendations: use these with a wet brush, I used the primer spray from Colourpop and for something with more precision, say to use as liner: use a fluid medium like duraline.
