Nabla Cosmetics ‘Love Kit’

How cute is this lipstick kit from Nabla Cosmetics?! The set includes four new, limited edition shades of their Dreamy matte liquid lipstick in romantic, Valentine’s day appropriate colors. The release date is February 1st but I haven’t heard any info on pricing yet. Nabla is an Italian company but they ship worldwide and their prices are reasonable. And fast! I’ve ordered from them twice and both times I was shocked by how quickly my order arrived.

I have most, if not all, of Nabla’s liquid lippies and I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula but with each new release, I love it more and more. First the scent… vanilla and coconut… ugh! I die! Delicious. I could eat it. They have pretty standard doe foot applicators but they do narrow down to a point so you won’t need a liner if you’re careful.

I wouldn’t say that the consistency is ‘moussey’ (because that’s not even a fucking word and I hate when people say it) but it’s not a thin formula. The texture is rich and creamy and it dries down to a very comfortable, long-wearing matte finish. I’m a huge baby when it comes to my lips feeling dry and these don’t bother me at all.

Acrylic Love is a bold, pure red. Normally reds will pull orange or blue but this one doesn’t seem to favor either undertone (to my eye at least). It’s just pure red.

After Rain is a bright coral pink.

Blair is a light pinky brown. I love this one!!

Status Single is a deep eggplant. I actually really like this color too even though it’s a little out of my comfort zone.

This set is limited edition and as far as I know these shades are only being sold as a set, not individually. I’m also not sure about the price. Their liquid lippies are €14.90 each (around $18.50 USD) so my guess is less than €60 but they usually offer new sets at a discounted rate for the first week or so. If you’re a liquid lipstick junkie then I would definitely consider adding the Nabla Cosmetics Love Kit to your collection!
