Yesterday there was a drop of 12 new shades and 3 repromoted shades everyone and their grandma pleaded to bring back.

Snap out of your winter blues folk: colour is BACK! lets get to business! I aint got all day!

I separated the 15 shadows in color themes: Warm neutrals, Cool shimmers and wild poppin mattes. This is not how they are meant to be used by any means, this is just how I separated the swatches so they fit in my arm.

KENNEDY: this is a matte peach shade that came on the Peachy Keen quad (was that the name? Im drawing a blank I sht you not. But the shade is the ultimate peachy matte to use as transition.

 

I LIKE YOU: this is an ULTRA GLITTER with a peach orange base and gold and pink shimmer

 

 

SIDE KICK: ULTRA GLITTER similar to GAME FACE but with a glitterier (not a word but I’m going with it) with lots of bronze and gold shimmer.  

 

CUTEOLOGIST – ULTRA GLITTER – this one befuddled me because its classified as an ultra glitter but its basically a very pigmented burnt red matte with some shimmer particles, its not the usual glitter bomb that ultra glitters are. 

 

NO PROMISES: MATTE – this is a terra-cotta with more red base than the previous shades that have released before (think fall in years past)

SHIMMERPALOOOZAAA!!!!!

These are mostly cool toned (except this first one, but bear with me, I couldn’t classify it anywhere else).

TWITTERPATTED: ultra glitter with a peach and gold mix similar to NARS ORGASM but glitterier, much much more shimmery.

 

FROG: ULTRA GLITTER – is it a pink? is it opalescent? it has pink and blues and a hint of green too… its the prettiest and most multidimensional.

 

 

WITTLE – ULTRA GLITTER – I didn’t think this was your regular ultra glitter either, it was more an ultra metallic, that with the pigmentation and shimmer; I’m used to ultra glitters being sheer and this was not it. You could use this as a topper but it stands its own. This is another favorite even as I’m not a “purple” gal. 

SPECIAL DELIVERY: ULTRA GLITTER: like a mix of SUGAR AND BANANA DAIQUIRI

ISSA – ULTRA METALLIC: think if BAE with less duo chrome and ton of glitter instead and highly pigmented with the most delicious berry purple tone. 

SWATCH PORN: 

SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST! The matte pressed pigments and bright shades that are bringing the COLOUR back into our lives and quite refreshing after the sea of neutrals we are used to in the colder months.

MONKEY BUSINESS – PRESSED PIGMENT – please note that pressed pigments are not reccomended for the immediate eye area, ColourPop now puts the warning on the label itself which is quite nice and informative but in no way deterring me from putting these on my lid.

This shade is almost a neon orange.

DONT LEAVE is an ULTRA METALLIC and reminiscent to SLAVE 2 PINK but more muted magenta and less shimmery.

DADDY – pressed pigment – oh have I missed you Daddy!!! ooooOooo!!! (said in true lolita voice) this bright violet was a delectable treat from spring past and its repromo was one requested by everyone and their momma.

SNAP DRAGON – this was another ghost of springs past, a sweet matte shade in a soft creamy green.

 

ZOOMSHIP – matte – out of the weirdest choices of names, this one takes the gold. This shade is a sky blue. 

 

My faves are: KENNEDY, I LIKE YOU, SIDE KICK, CUTEOLOGIST, NO PROMISES, TWITTERPATTED, FROG, WITTLE, ISSA, MONKEY BUSINESS, DONT LEAVE, DADDY, SNAPDRAGON…

I wasn’t too into special delivery because its too light of a shimmery green for my liking, but the shade itself is superb.
