FIRST OF ALL LET ME START WITH THE NEWSFLASH: Lime Crime will be sold at ULTA as of 10/29/17. So if you are like Angela and I and hoard points with their incredible rewards program, you got one more indie brand to add to the list.

Finally getting around to swatching my GEN BEAUTY loot – starting with the Lime Crime pocket candy palettes! This one is the SUGAR PLUM palette that comes in the pink packaging.

I will be legit: at first I was turned off by the cutesy design of the package and thought they would be tiny, well they are quite big (10.08 g net weight) large pans allowing these to be used on the cheeks as well.

The website indicated that IN THE US Candied Plum/FAiry Floss/ sugar & Spice are Not recommended for the eye area – this is a standard FDA warning on certain pressed pigments, other countries don’t seem to be so strict with it- try it with caution I say (I already did, didnt mutate. Yet.).

I overall liked the color arrangement, it’s prob got a lot of dupes already since we have been in the burgundy pink train for quite a while and I personally buy these shades even as I have them thrice.., but pretty nevertheless and with a smooth blendable formula. These are more standard satin and shimmers and can see this paired beautifully with their Venus palettes.
