CLIONADH COSMETICS ‘FRUIT SALAD’ HIGHLIGHTER PALETTE: REVIEW and SWATCHES

This palette was send as a press sample. We’re not otherwise affiliated with the company.

Clionadh Cosmetics ‘Fruit Salad’ Palette

Omg! How adorable is this highlighter palette?! And it smells delicious! The palette itself is GORGEOUS!

It has a large mirror and a beautiful hand painted design. It includes 6 citrus scented highlighters that are being sold individually as well.

Before we get into the review, I wanted to mention their current promo, in the checkout notes type ‘SUMMERPROMO’ and you’ll get the permanent highlighter of your choice for free. My top pics are Apollo, Vesta, Ceres and Bellona.

Okay so a little about these highlighters… there’s six different fruits and they’re all scented accordingly (orange, watermelon, lemon, lime, kiwi and grapefruit). You can them individually, as a bundle or in a palette which, as I already mentioned, is handpainted and has a huge mirror.

What’s really cool about them is that the pattern goes all the way through the pan, so you don’t need to be scared to use them because they’ll still look amazing. I snapped a quick pic of my used palette so you guys can see.

Mine still looks nearly perfect and I’m an aggressive swatcher!

The prices on these are a little higher than their other highlighters ($16 each, $90 for the bundle, $100 for the palette). This is due to how labor intensive these are to make.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Clionadh for over a year now and I think that their products are reasonably priced and well worth the money. I don’t doubt for a second how difficult it must be to create such a detailed and unique product. The brand is operated by a pair of sisters and they continue to blow me away with their creativity, talent and attention to detail.

That being said, I’m well aware that most people can’t afford to spend that much money on makeup at one time. But I would highly recommend getting at least one for your collection. My favs are fruity (watermelon), pucker (lemon) and bitter (grapefruit). So what do you guys think? Are they too cute to pass up or are you going to remain strong??? I have a ton of other new Clionadh products that I’ll be reviewing soon, in case you want to make a larger order.
