SEPTEMBER IPSY GLAM BAG REVIEW

Ipsy is a $10 a month beauty subscription service that includes five samples and a makeup bag. My favorite thing about Ipsy is that they include a large variety of products so that not everyone gets the same thing. I have so few surprises in my life that it doesn’t take much to excite me. Sad. I know. This month was pretty good for me. Here’s what I got…

I love the bag. It’s faux black leather with studs.

Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer ($10)- I like this primer a lot. It preps nicely for foundation and gives the skin a pretty, natural glow.

Pacifica Coconut Blush in Beaming & Tenderheart ($19)- I’m guessing on the price this as I was unable to find any Pacifica blush duos for sale. The singles are $12. I like this a lot too. I gravitate mostly to natural blush shades like this. The texture is very soft and the pigmentation is buildable. It adds a nice hint of color without being too much.

REP Biofresh Mask with Real Calming Herbs ($6)- this a mask that’s supposed to hydrate and exfoliate. I haven’t used it yet (because the next item I got also exfoliates) but I will soon. It smells good and I like trying masks.

Feel Renewed Pumpkin Walnut Facial Cleanser ($7)- this a creamy exfoliating cleanser. I tried this yesterday and I liked it. It gently exfoliated my face and the rich texture kept my skin from getting dry. And I like the packaging. I hate when you get a large sample that you can’t reseal.

Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip in VIP ($6)- yay! Colourpop items are always a win and this color is an Ipsy exclusive. I’m not a huge lip gloss fan but I like the color and I’ll use it.

The value of my bag this month is around $48 which is average for Ipsy. I’m pretty happy with what I got. There’s nothing that wows me but I’ll use everything so I can’t complain.
