COLOURPOP ‘GIMME MORE’ PALETTE: REVIEW and SWATCHES

Part 2 of my new Colourpop goodies! This is the ‘Gimme More’ highlighter palette. It’s $18 and will be restocked, along with the Yes, Please! palette sometime in the near future. With this palette you’re getting 6 highlighters that are 3.6g each, which works out to be around 83 cents per gram. That’s crazy cheap. I love cheap!

The palette is described as… ‘High-shine radiance delivered in a buttery soft powder highlighter that effortlessly blends into the skin for that lit-from-within effect.’

Extra: white gold with peachy reflects

Upgrade: pink champagne

Bottomless: tangerine with a gold flip

Full Service: pinky orange with gold shimmer

Bigger and Better: golden champagne

Total Package: metallic rose gold

The formula is the ‘foiled’ type of highlighter which I do like but it isn’t my favorite. They have a lot of shine but little to no glitter so that’s a plus. My palette is starting to get little spots of ‘hard pan’. I am an aggressive swatcher but I didn’t beat it that bad so I don’t know what’s up with that. It’s pretty but I’m not wowed. We’ve seen these colors before and I’m not in love with the formula. However you can’t beat the price so if you feel like these are colors that your collection is lacking, then go for it!

  1. I found some colours to be very glittery though and Extra seems to be not very ‘extra’ blinding at all in my palette, was rather chalky and difficult to get a nice swatch of it. But with the price I can’t complain much too since the rest were ok for me

    • Hmmmm… the formula isn’t my fav either and as I mentioned a few of the colors in my palette started getting that ‘hard pan’ effect making the product difficult to pick up. But what’s strange is that mine has no glitter whatsoever. Zero. Weird!
