Recently Vanessa sent me some eyeshadows, shimmers and mattes, and some of her liquid highlighters. All of her her products are handmade, cruelty free and vegan. Her eyeshadows come in 26mm pans and retail for $6. First up is the shimmers and as you can probably tell… they’re amazing! They’re super metallic, creamy and crazy pigmented.

BRONZED CHOCOLATE is a deep chocolate brown with red undertones and gold shimmer

ROSIE’S GOLD is a rich pinky copper

SUN KISSED is a warm amber gold

VINTAGE CHAMPAGNE is a ultra metallic white gold.

All four are amazeballs but my personal favs are ROSIE’S GOLD and VINTAGE CHAMPAGNE. She has a number of other shimmery eyeshadows in addition to these four available on her website.

Next up are a few of her mattes.

HAZE is medium charcoal brown.

BURNT SIENNA is deep brick red.

TANGY DIJON is a mustard yellow that I know you guys are going to lose your shit over.

SOFT EMBRACE is a beige with taupe undertones. This is the only one I had to build up a bit. Otherwise it blended in with my skin.
SILENT MAUVE is medium purplish taupe.

I’ve got to apologize because I’ve been really lazy with makeup lately. Lazy with actually putting it on my face I mean. And I have still yet to put these on my eyeballs. The way shimmers swatch is usually a pretty good indication of how they’ll apply on the eyes but I’ve had plenty of mattes that swatch like shit but perform beautifully on the eyes and vise versa. I wanted to use these before doing this post but it’s already been a few weeks and I didn’t want to put it off any longer. My favorite colors are definitely BURNT SIENNA, TANGY DIJON and SILENT MAUVE. As soon as I force myself to actually do my makeup, I’ll update this post.
VANESSA’S VANITY ‘SKINLITE’ LIQUID ILLUMINATORS ($15)

These guys are three of a number of liquid highlighters that VANESSA’S VANITY offers on her website. They’re $15 each or $12.75 (if you use our affiliate code OURBEAUTYCULT to save 15%). She also has a few bundles where you can get 3 for $38. They’re vegan and made with grape seed oil. They come in glass bottles with droppers and contain .5oz of product (same as COVERFX). INVISIBLE GRAPE and INVISIBLE BLUE are more sheer and iridescent. SNOW PUFF is more opaque.
