IPSY is a $10 a month beauty subscription service that features a variety of different beauty products (not everyone gets the same thing). Every month you get five samples and a makeup bag. 

This month the bag is denim with orange trim.

And here’s what I got….

MARSK MINERAL EYESHADOW in YOU’RE TOAST ($22.50)- this is a loose pigment in a light orangey bronze shade. It’s pretty but I won’t use it. I’ve got a huge pigment collection and this isn’t one that I’d reach for over INGLOT or MUG.

LUXIE BLUSH BRUSH ($18)- I’ve got mixed feelings on this one. I love when I get brushes in subscription boxes but I think LUXIE brushes are kinda overrated. And I prefer natural fiber bristles for blush application. This one is going in the giveaway pile.

THE ORGANIC PHARMACY LIP & EYE CREAM ($48)- $48! This is interesting because I don’t think that I have another product meant for the lips and eyes. It has bees wax which I found unusual for an eye cream but I quite like it. It only has a 6 month shelf life so I’m going to need to use it quickly.

LUNA HIGHLIGHTER in CALYPSO ($23)- this is a baked highlighter in a pearly greige shade. I likey! I don’t own any other products from this brand and although I like this one, I don’t think I’d repurchase. $23 is pretty expensive for a 3 gram highlighter.

BELLAPIERRE VOLUMELASH WATERPROOF MASCARA ($20)- I was surprised by the value of this mascara because I think of BELLAPIERRE as a drugstore brand  (not sure why I think that). The mascara is okay. I don’t think that ‘volumelash’ is an accurate name because it definitely lengthens and separates but I find that it gives very little volume. But that’s okay, I can never have enough mascara.

As I mentioned, IPSY is $10 a month and this month’s value is… over $130!! I’m fairly certain this is the most expensive IPSY bag that I’ve ever gotten. Normally the value is in the $50 range. I’m not crazy about the loose eyeshadow or the brush but I’ll use the other 3 things. And I can’t complain about $130 of products for $10!
