This baby is here!!!! First of: I have been in love with Viseart for a while, it was a fast and growing love, it’s a costly love but it’s a rewarding relationship: I love those palettes for their quality, for the amount of product you get, for the craft that goes into them as Viseart is known worldwide but is still a small women ran operation in France and they remain paraben and cruelty free. They are still an indie, just a prestigiously known one. 

Needless to say I was fangirled out when Muse Beauty Pro sent me the palette early for review, I am not affiliated with them but I appreciate receiving this early to share swatched and thoughts with the squad, which will remain my own thoughts as we do around here. I believe this will eventually reach Frends Beauty, Sephora and Beautylish. I’ll confirm dates when I find out. 

Love proclaiming aside, this palette is small. Fall in love with the shades but please keep that in mind. It’s tiny, it’s made thinking About the travelers and on the go makeup applications. It Contains .26oz. Pan size: 17mm | .73g/Pan; with a  5.84g Total.  But when you think about the quality, the range of the shades you realize you are getting a good deal considering that we would buy more expensive mini palettes from other brands that don’t come close in pigmentation.

The palette comes with a mirror and every pan is removable so you can pop them easily into your favorite magnetized palette if you so desire.  This picture was taken after I swatched and abused the palette so forgive its homeliness. 

To the shades: 

These are different lighting, swatched with a brush.  I slightly foiled the metallic shades (slightly sprayed the brush with Fix + because that’s how I would use metallics anyway). 

The first shade is a bone shade and very smooth on application. You can use this as a base to set your primer or to blend other shades out. 

Then we have a rather neutral brown, and a plum brown shade. This plum was the only matte that gave me patchiness.  The darker shade was a gorgeous shade for the crease and layers to a dark expresso. Both browns can make a great brow shade. 

The shimmer shades are notoriously good along the Viseart brand, the first being a champagne gold that performed better dry than wet, I’ll remember not to foil the next time.  The dirty true gold that came next was one of gorgeous pigmentation and complements well the other shimmery shades on the palette. The copper and plum also layered well with the brush and even later dry with my fingers. I can see myself mixing the metallic plum with the gold over the MATTE plum and brown for a dark blingy eye look that might require me wearing pearls on my neck and feathers in my hair; but also pairing the neutral shades for a basic daytime look for when I’m not at a speakeasy… 

YAY: diversity of shades, it’s a general arrangement of universally liked shades. Quality in the mattes, soft pigmented easy to blend Metallics.  Affordable price to try out the brand. 

To think about: It feels safe in terms of: if you don’t like bright colors you can still wear this safely, if you crave a little more pop on your step you’ll need an extra palette or a few singles to pull off a wild look.  It’s tiny (which is a good: fits everywhere, packaging is sturdy won’t get broken and shadows gone everywhere) BUT you might hit pan quick if you’re making this your everyday once you try out those mattes, small pans might get messy once the brushes get on it..
