I’m pretty happy with this month’s SEPHORA PLAY! It’s in the running for my favorite box of the month. But I still haven’t reviewed POPSUGAR so we’ll see. SEPHORA PLAY sends all their subscribers the same thing with a few exceptions to cater to skin type. Here’s what we got this month…
MAKE UP FOR EVER I-544 PINK GRANITE ARTIST SHADOW ($6)– I love MUFE eyeshadows and I don’t have this color. I think it was in a holiday palette that I ended up returning. It’s an iridescent mauvey pink color. It’s a small pan, .02oz but that’s fine. It will still last me forever.
SEPHORA EYE PENCIL IN FLIRTING GAME ($4.25)– this is waterproof eye pencil in deep shimmery taupe shade. It coordinates really nicely with the eyeshadow. It smudges nicely if you act fast but once it dries, it’s not going anywhere.
URBAN DECAY PERVERSION MASCARA ($5.50)– I can never have enough mascara because it has such a short shelf life. And I love this kind in particular so it’s another winner for me.
LANCOME ENERGIE DE VIE ($12.75)– not sure how I feel about this one yet. It’s a liquid moisturizer. Liquid as in straight up water, or so it seems. It did moisture but I think it would be more useful for oily skin. I prefer something thicker. But it will be nice to use on these hot days when I want something lighter.
CAUDALIE EYE LIFTING BALM ($20)-this is supposed to lift and smooth the eye area. It does an okay job and I like it but I don’t see myself repurchasing.
CLEAN RESERVE BLONDE ROSE- this perfume is absolutely delicious. It’s slightly floral but has a stronger musky scent. Sandalwood maybe? If I ever use all perfume samples, this is one that I’d repurchase.
SEPHORA PLAY is $10 a month and this month’s value was almost $50. Not a bad return. Especially considering that I’ll use and enjoy everything. What did you guys think of this month’s bag?
