i basically got this palette blind. There was no hooplah on release of shades, no gurus advertising this, no PR… nothing. But its DOC and we drooled over the previous palette so hard that our phones needed a rice bath so I clicked when it was time and paid the extra quick shipping.

initial thoughts: the mattes are perfect. perfect texture, perfect shades, i want to marry this palette and be faithful to it. I want to make cornbread for this palette, i want to build it a shrine just swatching the mattes.

two shades: Banana Split and Bubblegum were the duds here, they were gritty at swatching but again: i will test this and post later an actual review.
